Number of pistons.

        4.What are the RX-7 "generations"? 
1st [affordable], 2nd [expensive], and the cool one [4X the price of the 1 gen].

        5.What other regular production cars have had rotary engines? 
Mine did, someone else's might have.

        6.Why did Mazda stop selling the RX-7 in the US? 
Because people weren't buying them.

        7.Is the rotary engine dead? 
Mine is. Two of them.

        8.Why does my rotary Mazda have an oil cooler? 
To cool the oil... duh!

        9.Should I use synthetic oil? 
Only on your boinger.

        10.Do oil brands matter? 
Yes... Johnson & Johnson is the best...

        11.How often should I change my rotary engine's oil? 
As often as you change your own.

        12.What about mixing oil in the fuel? 
Good idea.

        13.What's the best fuel for my rotary car? 
Gasoline.

        14.Will removing my thermostat help my rotary run cooler or make more power? 
Future is cloudy. Ask again later.

        15.Why does a rotary engine make as much HP as a piston engine twice its size? 
Gravitational pull of the moon.

        16.When should I shift? 
When you feel like it, or just after redline.

        17.What is an apex seal? 
A seal with an A'PEX body kit?

        18.O-rings? What o-rings? 
O-rings in the water jacket, which is what scuba divers wear.

        19.How do I know if my engine's apex seals are OK? 
The car still runs and doesn't shake like an earthquake in progress.

        20.What are the differences between earlier & later Mazda rotaries? 
More horsepower, more parts, more money, bigger headache.

        21.What are the differences between 6-Port & 4-Port rotaries? 
2 ports.

        22.What is porting all about? 
So you can run the same software on another platform.

        23.What's the best way to test changes I make that affect my car's power? 
Tuck's butt dyno... if it's available.

        24.What if I switch to a light flywheel? 
The flies won't have to push as hard to get the car rolling.

        25.Why does my car smoke when I first start it? 
They all do. Don't worry about it.

        26.Why does my car smoke when I shift at high RPM? 
Blown engine. They all do it, don't worry about it.

        27.Why won't my rotary engine start? 
No key in ignition.

        28.Why is my rotary engine locked up, and what do I do about it? 
Unlock the door, pull the hood latch release.

        29.My car just failed its emissions test. Now what do I do? 
Register it at your folk's address in the country or bomb the testing facility.

        30.What's the best way to make my rotary car accelerate quicker? 
Push the gas pedal.

        31.Why is rotary exhaust replacement or improvement so expensive? 
Because underneath the stainless steel is a layer of gold.

        32.How do I remove my air pump? 
With a wrench.

        33.Where can I race my rotary car? 
Anywhere you can keep all four wheels on the ground.
