The area above this browser window contains two or more things as webmaster you might not be aware of.
First, there are now a number of standards-compliant web browsers available, most of which are newer and more compliant and more secure than Internet Explorer. One of these in particular is already a favorite among a large and rapidly growing number of web users, Mozilla Firefox. Because Mozilla is open source, it is the foundation of several web browsers. including the Mozilla Web Suite upon which recent and future Netscape versions are based. Standards-compliance means coding different pages for multiple browsers can be eventually be replaced with coding only one page that every compliant browser can properly use.
Second, tabbed browsing is now here. Instead of having different pages open in different windows, users have the option to use a single browser window to open multiple pages at once, and easily switch among them by clicking the tab title.
Third, the tabs above demonstrate the benefit of carefully selecting a page title. As you can see, when every tab begins with "welcome to", which is what happens when your page begins its <TITLE> with those words, their usefulness is limited. Your title is also the default description of newly created bookmarks or favorites. Unless your site's real name starts with a "W", or the user notices that the page name doesn't really identify your page and edits its properties accordingly, the user is going to be stymied in attempting to find the bookmark or favorite when trying to return to your page.
